Coolest fucking dude ever. I gained so much respect for him that day. For the next week I was analyzing what I could remember of my entire history with him and I could not remember him ever eating meat. But he was chef, like me, so he always had dazzling food to eat. It just never clicked and he never said a word about it. To this day, I've never brought it up. I figure if he wanted to talk about it, he would have done it already. Maybe it's for health reasons, or maybe he just thinks it's polite to avoid controversal topics like that. I dunno. Coolest dude ever, though.

He passed away 6 months late because he got drunk and passed out in a hot tub and drowned. Such a waste of a good guy.
