Hard shell tacos are the absolute degenerate food possible
You can't eat them without ALWAYS making a mess, the hard shell breaks with each bite so shit will start flooding out and you manage to eat maybe 80% of the whole package

As an alternative you can replace the soft tortilla with lettuce and end up with a mini taco salad at the end.

Cheese goes on bottom, meat on top of cheese to melt it, then salsa or sauce, then robust veg: peppers onion whatever, then sour cream, then lettuce.
Also why the fuck are you shredding the lettuce? You have teeth. You are willing to bite through a crunchy shell but not a lettuce leaf? Roll that motherfucker and lay it across the top to squish the rest of the toppings in.
