I always throw 1 cup of red wine in with any roast/stew I make. It creates a supremely velvety "sauce" instead of water broth.

You could do a mac n' cheese bake. Supreme and way better than Kraft.

Any chunk of cheap meat.

Half a cup of cheap wine.

Half a cup of water.

One package Lipton instant soup mix -- onion or mushroom or something. Turn it on before you go to work, eat when you get home. Make egg noodles or rice so you have something to spoon it over. Om nom nom.
