No, not really. OP's image is a huge portion. Your standard breakfast is something more like:

1 sausage
2 rashers of back bacon
1 black pudding
1 fried egg
Half a fried tomato
A couple of ounces of mushrooms
Beans

Toast or fried bread of optional but recommended.

(Exact ration may vary and someone will argue with list anyway because this is 4chans)

Balti curry or a chicken tikka masala if you want something different. Also, custard tarts, eccles cakes, scones, biscuits off the top off my head. Britain has a rich tradition of steamed puddings which are stodgy cakes usually eaten with some kind of sauce like custard or treacle.

It's just a really basic shortcrust pastry, but it's one of my favorite parts of it, if you make the curled handle part thick enough it's a nice solid crust you have left for the last bite. I basically follow this recipe to the t, minus the cornish butter I just use regular butter

same here, first time was a mess but tasted fine, second time I pretty much nailed it and they were great. The only mistakes I'e made since was trying to bake too many at once and they cooked all weird in my little oven, now I bake around two at a time and just freeze the rest.
