When I go to a pizza party, I wait until people are done deciding what they want and before they order I pay up for 2 more medium pizza, both half & half whatever topping I feel like trying. That way I can eat what I actually want and as much as I want without issues. It's always cheap pizza or places with 2-for-1 deals so it doesn't cost me much and people pretty much always offer me drinks for it.
