West Virginian here. Gino's fucking sucks, but their sister company Tudor's Biscuit World is amazing.

Publix sandwiches are pretty good, give them a try next time you are there.

Tip: Make sure you say "Public coldcuts", otherwise they will give you the Boarhead's shit and charge you extra for it.

Their deli, you could call in ahead like 25-30 minutes and ask for freshly fried wings and they will special order it for you. Many locations do not carry breaded wings, BUT if you call as instructed then they will bread a batch just for you - same price. Breaded wings also come in 2 flavors: regular fried chicken shit, or hot n' spicy.

I walk past them every day but it seems like there's something very unsanitary about them

Shopping at a Publix is worth the steep price of admission to traveling to the state of Florida. I'm trapped here but Publix makes living here worth it.

The products and pricing is just ok at Publix but their customer service is much better. How do they do it? they pay absolute shit yet the employees seem happy. Costco employees make much more money but all seem miserable and are generally not helpful

I worked there in high school and I actually liked it. The slightly higher prices on items keeps out undesirables. Sure you'll get an old hag complaining about nonsense on occasion but it's a rare thing. While it seems most people would scoff at the idea of having a career in a supermarket, the people who actually stay and move within the company make bretty good money.

Have you seen a Fred Meyer or QFC, both are Kroger. In fact Kroger has numerous stores that go by different names to target different communities.

The only food trucks that are good are the ones that give you big servings sizes. Every one I've had that has given out small portions but "It's worth the money ;)))" have been awful even without the fact that I overpaid for hardly any food

>> No.11879358

>>11879329
I went to some kind of food truck gathering in my town maybe a year ago. I thought they'd serve little portions at reasonable prices so I could sample everything but they all sold big-ass meals priced at anywhere between 15 and 30 dollars. You either had to go as a group and share one of everything or decide on one thing to try and walk away full as fuck.
If I just walk up to one of those trucks on the street I do want a proper meal but at an event like that it just seems to defeat the purpose of having them all in once place.

I have never been to a chain pizza restaurant. I think we have a couple Domino's in my country but almost all pizza places are small local ones owned by Muslims. I think I prefer it that way too.
