Vegan Australia

Australian meat and dairy farmers are likely to face increasing competition from plant-based alternatives: the country was recently labeled the world's most vegan-friendly.

Using Google Trends data, online food blog Chef's Pencil, compiled a list comparing the popularity of veganism across the world. Australia topped the list, retaining its 2017 ranking, with a 'vegan popularity score' of 100.

"Veganism has become hugely popular in Australia and more and more Aussies are turning to a plant-based diet," said Chef's Pencil. "Proof: Australia was the 3rd fastest growing market for vegan products in 2018, according to Euromonitor International."

Ironically the entire cucked out population of Australia could go vegan, and the cattle and sheep industry would barely notice if at all. Australia literally exports 80% of their beef production now, it would be easy to increase exports a measly 20% (to Islamic Europe for example) and the meat industry in Australia Never even notices unless they get physically banned.

Australia has amazing access to the best fruit/veg in the world so it's not surprising veganism is popular there.

All farm land suitable for crops is already being used.
Most cattle is on grazing land more further inland where crops can't grow.
It's not even possible for Australia to turn vegan without using their meat export profits to import more vegetables.

Lol try reading American beef industry trade publications. Everything that could possibly impact or cause them to change anything is framed as the end of the world.

Not only is this wildly inaccurate but it's also based on American style farms that feed cows grain.
Where it's the harvesting of grain that kills the animals

>f-fake news!!!
Get dabbed on

>American style
Pastures exist in America too, they get cleared, they take up massive amounts of land, native species get displaced, pollution from emissions and runoff occurr, and they get treated with pesticides. Even grass fed cows typically finish on grain. Cows need food, you dont just print them

Get fucking DABBED on

Show me a 109-year-old vegan. Sure they are old people who eat healthily but they all use dairy as well.

Thats not even close to being true. 10% of the land used for agriculture in Australia is modified for pastoral use anyways. The Aran Islands are a perfect example of utilizing seemingly useless land for vegetation and turning it into a thriving polyculture
