You may ask... why I season my thread with Knorr™ Stock Pot and not salt...

1. It seasons the thread.
2. It gives the thread some real umph, which salt can’t do if we’re honest.

Knorr™ makes your threads taste better every time, but don’t just take my word for it...

Try it yourself.

Can someone explain why they find this so funny?
Yeah, I get that he was/is a great chef and it might seem funny that he's shilling a knorr product....but that's not quite right either. If you notice, he always uses it as a seasoning, not as a replacement for real stock. So that angle doesn't work either.

Is it just dumb people who don't realize or don't care about that key detail who think this is amusing or am I missing something?

Marco mom's spaghetti
There's olive oil on his apron already
He's nervous
But on the surface he looks calm and ready
To drop aromat, on the carbonara that is resting
What he dropped down, the stockpot goes to loud
he opens his mouth, and the words Knorr™ come out
he's cooking, how, everybody's joking now

Sour grapes, but it's also a little silly to expect reason behind a meme.
