You can pretty much be healthy on this diet, but much of that is due to the diet being restrictive. For the average person living in a 1st world country, cutting carbs and sugars is generally a good thing, but getting all nutrition from meat isn't necessarily any better than a well balanced diet. https://www.foodinsight.org/whats-the-carnivore-diet-health

Every doctor says you need fiber. Just eating steak everyday seems a problem.
I get their argument for not needing extra vitamins, since you're not eating carbs which 'burn up' all your vitamins requiring you to eat an excess amount. Still I would be squeezing limes and lemons into water everyday to not get scurvey or popping some vitamins.

Work for what? We aren't carnivores. Carnivores don't have tastebuds for sweetness or enzymes in their saliva to help digest starchy food. We're omnivores.

Minimize refined and processed foods, get enough fat and good protein in your diet, don't overeat, and you should be pretty healthy. You might have food intolerance or allergy issues and you'll need to figure out what foods are good or bad for you specifically, but going vegan or carnivore doesn't make sense.

That said, you don't want to live off a meat-based diet. Inuits did it, they lived off of seal, whale, and fish. All their vitamins came from eating straight-up fat and blubber. It was a dipping sauce for their meat and fish. In the summer they ate some fruit though.

yeah, that's why we cook them, to get rid of those toxins so that they are edible. And even before GMOs were introduced how do you account for people who ate potatoes and rice by cooking them?
Potatoes are nutricious, even if they cannot be eaten raw, well not recommended.

Where does the idea that things need to be eaten naturally as if cooking isnt part of our evolution. What about eating fermented vegetables and meats, or sundried so it lasts you longer before mold grows on it.
You cannot defend eating mold on meats or vegetables because that might contain spored detrimental to your health.

And assuming your raw "high meat" diet is viable, that is only available though local farm range animals to decrease the risk of parasites.

I'd really like for it to get cheaper than real meat, and then maybe subsidies for current animal farming can be directed toward plant foods at which point all food will be cheaper.

Remind me, cholesterol is bad was the second moved goalpost and LDL is bad was the third moved goalpost, right? Funny how people still think they mean anything. Never passed 7th grade science and learned correlation does not imply causation, I guess. Not that there's even a correlation.

Can you imagine if a vegan posted test results like these? You’d never hear the end of it, but test results don’t matter as long as you take enough steroids to prevent yourself from looking like the cryptkeeper’s disbarred medical doctor brother
