you can get blood sausage in america too. wish there were more varieties though, might just be my local store but they only had the kind with big pieces of skin and fat in it which i could tolerate but it was a little chewy.

a lot of people are squeamish though because they're only used to eating prime cuts of meat. i also know some older people could only afford offal or other less desirable cuts when they were younger and poor so eating anything other than chicken breast, burgers, etc. reminds them of that time.
