lunch will always be at a fastfood (taco bell, subway, wendy, popeye, etc.) unless it's my day off and since I actually get to sleep on those days my break/lunch is combined so I'll have steak and eggs or blt or eggs benedict. sometimes I'll just have rice with kewpie and soy sauce

for dinner, I'll have a few glasses of bourbon before/during/after I'm making food. I would estimate my dinners range in the 1k-1500 calorie range depending on how much I put down.
after dinner, I may have some antipasta or other light snack to finish the bourbon with

Other than that it's just iced tea, water, or an occasional diet soda with lime.

The only other time I have ever lost significant weight was when I was too broke to afford food AND was living in a fifth-floor walk-up apartment. And the moment my finances got un-fucked, the weight all came zooming back despite still having to walk up and down those damn stairs for another year and a half.

First of all you can't think of changing your diet as something of a temporary fix. Like not because you're liver is going to shit but rather that you want to legitimately change your lifestyle.

Now that's a bit overwhelming at first but rest assured it's possible when you work on actively making small changes to your diet. For example i'm the sort of dude who binges the fuck out on things like chips and iced tea. I switched to buying the iced tea concentrate and dilute it more than normal bottled ones cause i know i'll drink a lot of it and wean myself off the sugar and swap chips for some basic cheese-platter mixing it up with dips, pickles onions etc....

I don't eat nearly as much of a cheese platter in terms of quantity and it helps those cravings where you want to smash an entire bag in one sitting. I sit around 1,400 cals a day. I have a hormone disorder that prevents any weight loss unless under extreme and practically unhealthy circumstances. They recommended a lap band but once they found I was actually following weightloss protocol without it and still not losing weight, they told me it would be no use and cause more stress than anything. My only other option is expensive and painful liposuction and a skin tuck which I either have to fly to europe to receive to be able to afford it, but even then the recovery is long and the scarring is pretty bad.

I've contemplated suicide because of this. At this point I don't see another option other than die or be a fat fuck forever.
