Looking for a new microwave as the last time I used mine the door button exploded internally turning a 30 second warm up into a 15 minute ordeal to rescue the contents.

Been looking at commercial units as they are dead simple(buttons you can just type the time in with, or have preprogrammed to common durations. vs 95% of the panel being dedicated to shit i have never used and a single 30 second increment that doubles as start), have a actual handle to open the fucker and don't have turn tables since they just heat from the bottom.

From what I can tell panasonic is the way to go for entry level. Namely the NE-1054F. BUT I am in a 230v 50hz master race country, and all of the specs claim these are 120v 60hz only. The euro site lists different model numbers but 'looks' like the same unit, for *only* twice the cost to get the 230-240 rating.

tl;dr Can I use a USDM panasonic microwave on 230v, surely these are universal input right?

pic related, they managed to do it in the 50's or whenever this ad is from.

i don't need your validation, i need someone who works at subway to read the spec plate on the back.
