Is there a website or resource out there that can match a hot sauce to my tastes and preferences?

There are several websites which rank hot sauces by heat. Use that to zero in on options around your desired heat level.

Read ingredient lists to see if you think you might like brands around your heat level.

Sure. Buy an assortment of sauces and try them.

no
the best two are johnny scoville and bill moore. the former posts every day. but the problem is that both of them seem to love every single product they receive for free to review
they will talk some shit about common grocery store sauces, but everything else is "oh wow this is amazing"
that said, both strike me as genuinely good people and there's a real chance they really do love every hot sauce because they just love hot sauce
johnny scoville in particular has an unbelievable tolerance for heat and is an actual freak of nature in that regard. my tolerance is extremely high but i almost get cap cramps just watching some of the shit he does

to OP: no. that's impossible. but it's pretty easy to find sauces that will have some of the flavors you like by going to any site that sells them as a specialty and reading the reviews and ingredients. if a resource like you're looking for existed, what would it be like? what would you even type in?

If it's so easy and nonchalant for you, you can purchase them for me.

Not really. You have your own palate and only you can determine what hot sauce goes good with what food. Trying them is really the only way.

Start with the pleb brands at your local grocery. Put them on a variety of things and see what goes with what. If you find that you like Tabasco, for example, then you might try ordering different (and potentially better) "Louisiana Style" hot sauces from the internet later. Then try the brands at your local Mexican grocer, if you have one around.

If you don't want to go through the time and expense of doing that then you should see if there's a hot sauce expo going on anywhere near you. I know there's the High River Sauces expos in Anaheim, Portland, and NYC, but there are other people who do their own shows around the world. All you do at the expos is try hot sauces all day and is an okay way to find stuff you like without having to buy a shitload of bottles, some of which you might hate. There are also hot sauce specialty shops scattered about that always offer tastings. I know there's at least one in New Orleans, and iBurn in Houston.

excellent advice
you've got a worcestershire sauce in there, by the way. dave's is not for me due to the reliance on extract, but i see you have the basic el yucateco and i need to recommend the xxxtra hot or whatever. it's better. also good move having a tallboy of green tabasco. green tabasco is insanely good. tabasco in general is a resistance to the meme that when something is popular it isn't good.
pic related is the best hot sauce on the planet. it is very hot so you might want to use it differently, but it has no extract and just tastes amazing. nothing comes close in my opinion and i've had a thousand of them
