Usually when it comes to Ramen i like to personally add some Paprika or Ginger. Sriracha is also good.
I also recommend cooking the noodles in some sort of broth instead of water. You can still add the flavor packet to the ramen later, but use something like a bouillon cube for cooking the noodles.

I make ramen stir fry
1/3 cup water in saucepan
Half the seasoning, spoonful of garlic chili, squirt of ketchup
Cook noodles and after the sauce thickens a bit I toss in some frozen stir fry veg mix and peanuts
Cook til sauce is thickened

Everyone says to add eggs because of that ramen rater guy recommending it all the time in his reviews. Personally I don't get the appeal and have never even purchased eggs before outside of when they come with breakfast sandwiches. They seem like they go bad easily and I'd probably end up just forgetting about them and then having three year old eggs I'm always procrastinating throwing out.
