Speaking as someone with colitis I can confirm you're wrong as fuck. I would love it if you could get all your calories from a drink, but without solid food you just end up with horrible malabsorption and diarrhea. Same is probably true if you try to eat an entire box of granulated sugar. Your stomach, intestines, and kidneys aren't infinitely abusable. The kind of overweight people on shows like half ton man had to be eating a lot of real, solid food. You don't reach half a ton in bodyweight through drinking bottles of ensure let alone an even less substantial liquid with zero fiber like soda.
