You are a full on idiot if you don’t realize those “mom n pop” Asian donut places are all fronts for the Korean mafia’s factory donuts. Literally, the factory is in the center of DFW metroplex, and the premade fried doughnut are shipped out every morning to “mom n pop” who pay outrageous protection money as well as being forced to buy from the mafia. The only things made in house are the cake donuts (which are baked on site from dough shipped from the Korean mafia) and any egg containing breakfast sandwiches. I know this because I’m friends with my local “mom n pop.”

Hurts Donut makes their own product. Top Pot too, though they are now a chain. At least Kristy Kreme fries them on site.
