cows are huge, and have tons of meat mass. Humans are biologically built much differently. There is a ton of sugar and nutrients in cow milk to support a baby cow and grow said calf into a huge cow. My main issue is that cows are farmed as machines, and the milk that goes to humans should be going to the calfs that are brutally murdered to make veal and so that they can push more milk product on the shelves.

The milk industry is mad at these alternative plant based milks for labeling their milks as "milk" and have gone so far to try and force these companies off the shelves because they are actually selling enough product to be at competition with these industries.

You are only drinking cows milk because it is putting tons of money in the pockets of extremely rich, selfish people. Who only care to continue and expand their profit margin.

There is nothing that we humans eat which is made "for" food, except arguably fruit, which plants deliberately make not only edible, but delicious, so their seeds are spread via droppings. Leafy greens? Those aren't for eating, those are parts of the plant and support photosynthesis. Roots? No it's Oat Juice, but they can't call it that because Oat Juice sounds very unappealing

I've had a couple oat mylk lattes at those hipster cofffeeshops, and I gotta say that shit is pretty good. Creamy without that guargum aftertaste and no weird carbonpencil taste like almond milk and no weird sour thinnes from coconut cream.
Hands down easily the best tasting and texture for a vegan milk. Best hot too, good on a matcha latte forgot to mention.

Oat milk in oats with peanutbutter and protein powder and banana is pretty fuckin good.

I use it because I get enough fat/cholesterol from the greek yogurt, eggs, and protein I already eat instead of having milk

But oats aren't made for humans, oats are made for growing into more oat plants.

milk is simply milk. it cant be compared to any other food. of the various bean juices and seed juices available, one stands out as actually good in its own way: silk protein nut milk, made from cashews and almonds, 10 g protein per serving (like soymilk), just a hint of sugar, thick, nice nutty/planty flavor, not like cows or goats milk at all, but a good food. all the other fake milks are atrocious, either horrible flavor or too much sugar. unsweetened chocolate almond milk was good when i could find it, but its still just water.

Find the right brands. Dont think of it as a milk replacement but as an ingredient itself. unsweetened coconut milk and oat mylk and almond milk that has no guar gum, careengan, and other stabilizers are legit ingredients to add to your tool list.

walnut milk added to, and not insubstitute of whole milk, in a banana bread adds an hidden nuttyness that taste pretty great.

God you're fucking stupid. Have you ever had to set up a scientific experiment?

My point is that to determine the health effects of a vegan diet vs an omnivore diet, the only difference between the groups should be wethsr their food is completely plant-based or not. Caloric intake, macro composition, and level of physical activity should all be constant between groups.

The biometrics used as results in this study are also useless on their own. If there was an epidemiological study that had found lower rates of cardiovascular disease and diabetes among vegans versus an otherwise equal group, these biometrics could be used to explain that difference.
