It’s bbq sauce shake and bake and chicken.

It was horrid and slimy though the chicken was juicy. Ate it anyway and thanked her. The worst part was the side of overlooked canned peas

Both of my grandmas have been dead for 16+ years(i'm 31), i remember spending time late at night in the hospital roaming around the halls at 1am when i was like 10. I didn't really "get" or understand death so I never cared much when she died. It would've bothered if she died nowadays but I was a sociopath when I was a kid and I enjoyed those nights sitting with her with my mom and exploring that hospital and peeking into peoples rooms and going to the cafeteria.

Lol OP is such a faggot. I haven't had grandparents for 20 years. The last meal I ever ate with my grandma was day-old spagehtti that she made ahead of time for some reason. God all this fucking thread did was put me in a spin about my dead grandmother. I miss her cooking so much. Even when it wasn't quality there was just a special touch to it. She has as much a hand in raising me and my brother as my mom or dad did. After my uncle died she became a horrible alcoholic but even when she couldn't see straight she tried her damnedest do make good meals for her family at every opportunity. Holiday meals were so important to her that for more than thirty years she kept a detailed journal of family holiday meals, what everyone brought, how it was received, and recommendations for the next year. She was a hell of a woman. Fuck you OP for this feel thank God every day you have a grandma who's alive and gives a fuck about you.

I 'got' death pretty early as a kid, but was raised Christian so in my mind the person who just died was in heaven now and was lucky for it, so the end result was about the same. I still remember the night my grandfather died, everyone was wailing in the main room while I was having a gay old time off to in a side room assembling a movable frog from some kind of k'nex knockoff.

OP you faggot, its your grandma! Get your head out of yoru ass and realize that old people forget how to cook and basically overcook any meal or put too much of certain ingredients in it. My dad is a bit demented and he over cooks all the veggies to mush and then throws in so many spices and different sauces that it doesn't taste like anything, I don't bitch and moan but instead cook for us both whenever I am over.

>> No.11469597

If you're gonna be an ungrateful brat about it, then why don't you cook her a few meals yourself? It's what I do with my grandma. Sheeiit, I do it with my mom too.

>go over to their houses
>they say they'll make me something to eat (aka boiling vegetables)
>I tell them that I'd like to take that load off their games
>put on my cooking apron and "kiss the chef" t shirt with gravy stains on it
>pan sear some freshly prepped carrots in a little butter with some salt and freshly chopped cloves of garlic
>everyone goes nuts over them

But if you wanna bitch and complain, that's perfectly fine too.

Most of the time she doesn't even recognize me or my granddad, it's sad seeing him suffer that his wife for over 50 years is slowly fading away.

My grandma ( violinist ) smoked until she died at 82.
My grandpa (Welder, Italy campaign vet, tank driver) drank a shot of vodka before sleep... passed away at 89.

Both were a true inspiration - Gran with her wittiness, and Grandpa with his discipline.

;_; i miss them and their greasy food, because they wanted me to eat stuff that they could only wish about.

Goddamn the way this board acts you'd think all your grandparents were raped and murdered. He went and spent time with his grandmom AND ate her food which is all she cares about. It's not like he was openly complaining about it. What does it matter if he posts it on here? It looks awful and it's pretty funny.
