The Orient has the best vegetarian food. Western vegetarian stuff is so shit because 90% of it consists of modified (i.e. ruined) versions of dishes that originally included meat or dairy. But if you have soy sauce, tofu, and seitan, you don't need animal products so much.

Seriously. Tofu and seitan are extremely versatile. Carnivores (from my american experience) are so quick to judge but from my understanding in Asian countries they eat both tofu and seitan in the same meal that contains either pork beef or chicken.

Sikh religion.

Not only is their food good, but it's also free to anyone who wants to come in and have a meal, whether they are a part of their religion or not. That seems like the "best" version to me.
