so what are some totally irrational things that you do that is /ck/ related?

for me:
>cant stand spoons with thick rims (expensive cutlery in general)
>will always prefer using spoons that feel cheap and have sharper rims
pic related

>dislike expensive heavy cookware and prefer the cheaper and lighter ones from dollar stores

>refuse to use disposable chopsticks unless theres no other choice (i hate the smell and the mouthfeel of those)
>will always use non disposable chopsticks to eat my takeout/delivery even if it meant I had to wash them after

I cut up my dish into small pieces before eating it, with the fork in my right hand. Like a child.

I also believe curly fries have no reason to exist. Does anyone actually like curly fries? Why do they even exist?

>> No.11363299

when i use spices or condiments i don’t like to mix them together with my food. for example i put a lot of hot sauce or black pepper at one spot on the food and eat that. because once i mix it i can’t eat the food at its core taste without additional spices.

That's funny. Never heard it referred to as that before.

I didnt say being left handedness is being childish you fucking faggot. My specific wording was how retarded it is to hold some one up to some arbitrary standard of using a specific hand to use a fucking fork, forgoing using the hand best suited for the task.

You sound like an assmad lefty either way

I have a recipe I'm making today that called for 2-15oz cans of pizza sauce.

I went to the store and found that all the pizza sauce is now in 14oz jars, so I hunted that whole section until I found ONE brand that was a 16oz jar, then bought a 14 and a 16 to balance out.

The dominant gand is honestly the natural one to hold your fork in, the secondary and less frequent task of cutting can be done easily with your other hand. The only reason we do differently is class signalling.

It's a matter of preference.
Literally who cares how other people use their cutlery?

I really dislike cutlery with engravings on the handle where you hold it, especially knives and forks.

Not a full out autism thing but If I get cutlery and I have an option I will always take the smooth one.

Cannot stand when food falls from my utensil or from my hamburger or burrito or taco or gyro or whatever it is. Tacos are the worst because the corn tortillas just shatter, flour tortillas are mostly better but no matter how well it's rolled up, some sauce will drip out and down my hand/wrist and it makes me so fucking mad
Trying to watch something while knowingly eating something messy, like chicken wings (at least one hand needs to touch the wing to hold it steady if you're a weirdo who uses a fork to eat them) and then the sound starts blaring, but you can't touch your volume/remote.
The worst is anybody doing the dishes but me, because they just drop everything in the sink and it's so loud
