>wanted to make omelets nicely
>only have a stainless steel sauce pot, no spatula, just wooden spoon or chopsticks
>follow youtube videos
>asian guy who autistically keeps whipping eggs with chopsticks while in the pan
>western guy who keeps pushing the cooked eggs in and tilting the pan
>both ended up as scrambled eggs for me
>fuck it, just dump the eggs in and go browse 4chan while they cook on low-med-low
>come back to check in like 10 mins or some shit, looks perfect
>flips perfectly, pot is spotless
>super fluffy, didn't break
Why do internet "chefs" overcomplicate this?

Sorry, should have resized that. Could have drained grease off (olive oil and butter mix) but why bother if it's for myself.
I feel like most recipes online overcomplicate every dish.

What you made is completely different from what they made.

The eggs that you whip constantly aren't supposed to be "flipped". When they're done, they can still be poured out of the pot.

What you made is basically like what you'd get out of a microwave unitasker for eggs.

That looks like fucking shit, and even under all the slop I can tell it’s over cooked

I mean, it might have flipped easily but those eggs are fucked man, they are seriously overcooked to all hell and I can see frizzy bubbly spots that tells me you put egg in a too-hot pan with too much oil.
Not to mention the grease pooling on the plate and then you topped it with ketchup...
>Why do internet "chefs" overcomplicate this?
Because they want to serve edible food that looks nice, not some burnt greasy eggs. Be honest, do you REALLY think you did a good job here?

Ketchup. And it was not overcooked. There was not a single area that was burned. Eggs could have used longer if anything.

overcooked != burned
If your eggs are completely solid, they're overcooked.

They were not. Spots were slightly runny. I'd prefer it all solid.

I bet you also believe a well done steak is overcooked.

compare American-style scrambled eggs to french style.
The American style is more cooked, but still not OVER cooked.

It's because your standards are so very low. You post a pic of destroyed eggs covered in ketchup and complain that people over complicate their cooking. The reality is probably that you're an incompetent cook and are so used to eating your own bad cooking that it's become your baseline for what is normal.

Stainless works great for omelettes and don't let the (((chemical transmitting non-stick shills))) whether on mommie blog tier cooking sites with meme chefs or on this shill board convince you otherwise.
