Who else fell for the "Instant" Pot meme?
>you need to wait ~10 mins for it to reach pressure before it actually starts cooking

>> No.11250592

But, anon, wouldn't any pressure cooker need to reach the proper pressure first as well?

>> No.11250595

just turn it on 10 minutes before you need it retard

But, but it say instant on the front...

why don't you just buy a slow cooker and turn it on 8 hours before you need it

Slow cookers are impossible. Not only do you need to be home 8 hours before you eat or whatever, but then there is the shopping and prep work before that. It's literally the hardest way to eat.

As of today, instant does not mean that food is teleported to you across fiberoptic cable.

people who think pressure cookers produce the same result as slow cookers just quicker are dumb

These electronic pot things are a meme
A proper stove top pressure cooker that can get up to 15psi is what you want.

It would be nice if it was a little faster. I usually have about 30 minutes to put together weeknight dinners before the kids start to get antsy. Depending on how much prep work is done, it can be tough to crank out some "instant" meals in 10 minutes. Also, everything is insanely hot when it is done, so it takes another few minutes to cool down to consumable temperatures.

>>11250595
That's not now it works...

>>11251301
Not that anon, but if it is a house with smaller rooms or an apartment, you can get away with just having in-wall electric heaters or baseboard heaters in each room.

I meant an electric pressure cooker. Got it for like $10 at a blowout sale at BB&B one year in early 2000s. I can cook mean food in no time so it's only been used literally once in my entire life. Does exactly the same thing an instapot does but doesn't have the trendy brand name XDDDDD
