I made my family's asado for the national holidays.

It was a bunch of different kind of sausages, and a cut of pork tenderloin marinated in olive oil, garlic, salt and a bit of spices. It was really simple but it came out really good. The pork was soft, salty and garlicky

Tomorrow is the last day of the holidays so I'm marinating more pork, this time in soy sauce, garlic, honey, mustard, more garlic, salt and a bit of spices. I hope it comes out better than today's!

No photo of today's food because it was prepared and then eaten ASAP, but maybe tomorrow i'll get one.

I'm trying to think of some way to make it easier but idk. I shredded potato (peel and all) with a cheese grater then rinsed the shit out of it and soaked it for a few minutes. Then I laid it out on tea towels to dry, then pan fried in olive oil.

Start to finish it took like 30 minutes.

Maribel is typically shown with a high cut collared purple dress. Yukari is typically shown in a low cut purple dress or her priestess gab which is white with a purple sheet in the front, like in this image...

If an artist wants their tuhus to be identified properly, they need to adhere to clothing choices that can help people identify them.

In the image in question, we see Maribel/Yukari sitting at a table with a remote in hand and a telephone in the shelf in the background. Items typically associated with the outside world, Maribel's world, and not Gensokyo, where Yukari resides. In addition, the image had been cropped tight, removing Chen and Ran from the image, further removing any indication that this is intended to be Yukari, and not Maribel. What we see is a blonde girl with purple eyes in a purple dress like the one Maribel is typically seen in, in a setting that would be associated with the outside world and not Gensokyo. Common sense would conclude that this is Maribel, and not Yukari. The full image depicts Ran and Chen, giving some indication that this may be Yukari instead, but that still does not explain the remote and telephone. It is 50/50 unless the artist explicitly states "This is Yukari."

Oh, and I had one small potato, that's the whitish stuff you see in there.

Had about a glass of leftover red wine so I added that and just used water for the rest of the liquid. I reckon I can get enough flavour out of this without having to use stock.
Simmering for 3-4 hours I guess. Most of that time has already passed.

I like mac n cheese cuz it gives me the best farts. They're nice and wet, they have that frogginess to them, but they never border on a shart. It's like a bubble bursting in my asshole everytime. If I mix it with broccoli I get these nice long wet farts that sound like someone making fart noises into their wind instrument at bandcamp when they're trying to learn how to play it. And the smell, dear lord the smell. Sweet and sensuous yet with a sour note that just kind of dangles there at the end, never overstaying its welcome and becoming rancid. Some nights after eating a massive bowl of mac n cheese and broccoli I pass out and awake in the morning to a symphony of this wonderous farts flying from my asshole BANMEand the aroma of the pungent mist their collective aura has dabbed upon my bedroom

I don't outright hate it but "complements" is pretty strong, the flavors aren't blended at all and pineapple is already more complex than just sweet so it doesn't play nicely with meat the same way sugar does, combine with tomato and cheese and it just ends up being an odd mishmash. I made chicken and dumplings. I'm on a tight budget. I got my pan extremely high heat with oil and put tons of color all over my chicken and my carrots, vegetables, and onion. I had prepared the dough before hand. The stock was surprisingly rich from all of the coloring and the dumplings thickened it into the thickest gravy. Bright dumplings, delicious chicken, big on flavor(veggies really came through), whole thing cost just a bit over $3 with 1.79 lb. chicken, flour, egg, butter, salt, oil, onion, 60 cent bag frozen frozen veggies.

Served it up to myself with some fancy plating and felt like I ate like a king.

>one-pot-pasta
Those never work.
There is no ingredient in the world that cooks at the same rate as pasta.
All of these abominations end up cooking the pasta for something like 20 minutes, boiling it in a mixture of ingredients that can't be abundantly salted like pasta requires, so the pasta itself always ends up being a bland, overcooked glue.
But let's say you're used to it, let's say you live in one of those countries where you can live your whole life without eating properly cooked pasta even once, so it doesn't bother you.

The rest is still going to be dreadful, because by cooking everything together for pretty much half an hour you obtain a mixed mash, with every individual flavor being lost in the sludge you created.

One-pot pastas are a cancer.
They never worked.
They will never work.
They only sound good to lazy people unable to cook who see it and think "Hey, even I can cook that!"
Except you can't.

Because one-pot pastas do not qualify as food, nor cooking.
