Throw about half in the bowl, pour the noodles in and mix in the flavor pack, then dump the rest of the sausages.

I like to make it a full meal. I'll sear some pork tenderloins to just about medium rare, and slice into medallions. Then I'll cook the noodles al dente, and drain water. I'll mix some mayonnaise into the noodles and add about a quarter of the seasoning packet. Add diced onions, cilantro, asparagus, and the pork. I also like to put a few habanero stuffed olives in there for heat.

Instead of chopping them thickly or in rings like you would as a garnish, make two cuts lengthwise along the stalk in a t-shape, then chop thinly. That should increase the surface area enough that they stick.
Also, I have no problem with the leftover onion in my both because it adds a lot of freshness sauteed veg just cant compare to.

Rereading my explanation, it was pretty bad, I think you understood me but just to be safe I'll say
Cut a "+" through the stalk and then mince all 4 quarters together This is easier than it seems, since green onion is made up of fibers that run lengthwise and basically guide the knife for you.
As an added bonus, cutting like this makes the pieces small enough that when you drink the broth they don't catch in your throat and go down much smoother.

Nothing because its fucking trash and for the same effort and less cost I could make a decent vegetable soup or even just a regular meat soup with leftover cutlets and bones. I could even add pasta or wild rice, or barley, or bulgur or even couscous if I wanted something more flling. If I even wanted it ultra cheap, I could just buy a few kilograms of flour and make my pasta for months ahead.

Stop trying to "fix" ramen. Its disgusting and you shouldnt eat it.

>> No.11192253

when i was a kid, we had a friend who would baby sit at times. he was japanese/hawaiian. he put diced green onion in it. thats how i learned to eat it. when i make it now, i throw out the flavor packet, and add rice vinegar, miso, soy sauce, ginger, green onion, toasted sesame oil. either to noodle water, or drained and added to moist noodles.
