Foods you developed a negative opinion on as a child that you repeatedly give another chance into adulthood and they never get better

i like twizzlers, but i ate an entire package of the sugar-free ones in a movie a few years ago and i had to run out of the movie theater to shit my brains out. i spent a couple of hours on the toilet.

if you want a laxative that tastes okay, try sugar free twizzlers.

I'll eat them to be polite at someone else's house, but that's it. Same with Brussels sprouts, though I do like normal full-sized cabbages.

Ah, you beat me to it.
For some reason, I'll still try one like once a year, just to see if anything's changed.

No, the sweeteners they put in sugar free candy are known for this. Look it up.

Steaks, i mean i dont hate it but no matter how perfectly it's cooked to medium rare~ i still think it's just... average compared to various other CHEAPER choices available.

I will eat any kind of tomato up to and including tomato sauce, sun dried tomatoes, roasted, grilled, ketchup and any other ketchup based sauce, but I cannot tolerate the taste of any kind of raw tomato, with the worst offender probably being those cherry tomatoes or plum tomatoes, whatever they're called. It sucks because I can never order a burger "all the way" without having to specify that I don't want that shitty, grassy, watery piece of shit ingredient on there.

Not to mention a lot of Italian dishes have some variation or other of that kind of tomato.

i love a lot of fermented dairy. sour cream, european-style butter, yogurt, parmesan, sharp cheddar, etc.

but the microbes used blue cheese don't produce a flavor i like.

Pickles. Also why is it that if you tell someone you don't like pickles they act like you personally insulted them?
