Not true, it’s not expected (and hardly a thing anymore because paying online) but back in the day I did pizza delivery and would routinely get decent tips. One guy would have “get Anon to call me before leaving” to confirm if he wanted me to swing by the bottle-o to get him some rum on the way over. Would routinely give me 10-30 tips.
