I love Indian, and think beer goes great with it. Same for Mexican, Thai, Japanese (sushi), Korean... The problem is that all of those countries produce primarily shitty light lagers, and that's usually all they sell at their restaurants, so living in America in 2018 and being spoiled by the amazing beer being produced it's actually made it kind of a disappointment to go out to any of those places when the beer is so mediocre.
