Just wondering but do you have any sources besides that book? I tried googling "Himmler soup" but didn't really find anything. I've never heard of anyone dying from eating a calorie dense meal, especially already malnourished concentration camp prisoners.

Epic Meal Time has proven this to be bullshit.
Why would you want your soldiers to eat 3000+ calories in one sitting anyhow? It's not like they won't get hungry again in a few hours. All you get out of this is fat soldiers.
