I agree that flats are better, but I prefer a mix. Having only one kind gets boring.

I like them spicy, but only if they have flavor. Really hot buffalo is no good

Rarely enjoyable but tasty.
Very little meat waste of time because you're sticking 75% of the thing back on the plate to throw away... but they're less of a waste of time than ribs though.

In the future, chickens will be raised solely for their wings. The entirety of the carcass will be considered offal, and made into dog food or as poverty aid.

Flats, tips, drumettes, I don't care. Wing is King.

is it just me, or are lollipop drumsticks super rare?

never seen them in a restaurant. i've only had them at weddings and other catered functions.

they're so much better than wings.

Flats, extra crispy, sauce on the sides. Hotter the better. Best accompaniment to beer imo.

cook them the exact same way and finish with the same sauce, taste just the same, but you actually get some meat. wings are trash sold at a huge mark up.

More than anything it's probably the time it takes to prepare them. Most restaurants will get them frozen and most home cooks have either never heard of it or don't have the skill to prepare them.

>> No.11040131

good stuff, my air fryer cooks them nicely. just lightly coat with corn starch first. also when you make wing sauce, use franks red hot, spice it the way you like it, then take it off the heat and add COLD butter in chunks and use an immersion blender to imulsify it together. you'll get a rich, think sauce. put in a bowl and toss to coat. wah la

They're great when they're thick and extra crispy on the outside. And with hot sauce as dip "on the side." And always drumettes and flats, because I'm against all forms of discrimination.

Is this not already the case? You can get wings, drums if you're some kind of counterculture fuck, the whole chicken if you want to actually cook something, or boneless breasts if you're desperate to have meat to pretend that you aren't inescapably lower class.
