Why do plebs compare In-N-Out to Five Guys and Shake Shack?

A cheeseburger from In-N-Out is like three bucks. Five Guys and Shake Shack are like twice as much. Literally not even in the same category. In-N-Out is competing against places like McDonald's and Burger King and absolutely killing them.

It doesn't count anymore because you can find a Five Guys fucking ANYWHERE (hell, I saw multiples in London), but In-N-Out is still pretty regional, even though that doesn't make sense.

In-N-Out's pretty much the best for a fast cheap burger without leaving your car.

Five guys just straight up blows in-n-out out of the water, anyone who says otherwise is a retard. Five guys is too fucking expensive for what they offer now though. In-n-out is only a hair better than mcdonalds or wendy's, and it's mostly only because they put effort into their processes. The wait is longer, but they make things fresh, as opposed to national chains that might quality sacrifices to speed up service. If you ever get fresh cooked food at mcdonalds or wendy's, either by accident, or by employing "tricks" to your order, they are really about the same quality as in-n-out.
