Depending on the type of sandwich, you MUST cut it a certain way.
Most should be cut diagonally, but club sandwiches must be cut with two diagonals. Hoagies you just cut in half.
I wonder if they spit in my sandwiches because I have to explain this to EVERY sandwich shop I go to.

I never got the point of making enormous jaw-breaking sandwiches.
They don't fit in your mouth, and if you have to take them apart then there's no point in them being a sandwich as opposed to a simple platter.
