>go to store and buy ingredients like pasta, bell pepper, celery, etc
>drive home and start preparing veggies
>cut open bell pepper
>the entire inside is covered in white mold and rot
>have to go back to the store you were just at, just to buy a single red bell pepper

it was by all external measures a perfectly good bell pepper, firm and without blemishes
