Yo it's been awhile since we had one of our Classico Olive Garden Threads. Probably the best place to sit down for a meal with friends or family.

Lasagna fritta or stuffed mushrooms. I don't care much for pasta.
>>Favorite drink?
Wine.

Working there for 6 months. I had to move cities or I would have stayed on a couple years I bet.

I don't bother with any fancy drinks there, but to answer 1/3 it's probably doing a lunch with coworkers or friends and enjoying good conversation over a bowl of zuppa toscana with a little parmesan and a breadstick. Some of their pastas or chicken dishes are pretty solid but it's hard to beat the simplicity of good soup and bread.

Sadly, since the closest one to me is now so far away, I just make it at home.

Their pasta and salads along with the soups are great.

I would go as far as to say that everything on the menu is near incredible. Can we talk about the atmosphere though? The nice artwork, classy jazz music, wine displays, and waiters dressed in all black make me feel like I'm in a James Bond movie or something.

Yurofag here.
What is the stereotype about olive garden?
My uncle told me he uses to go there with his family. He votes republican and is a devout Evangelical Christian.

It's a cheap chain and chains in general are looked down upon. You could swap Olive Garden with TGIF or Apple Bees and you'd get the same general reaction.

But is it wholesome and family oriented?

No not really. A lot of niggers and teen drug addicts go there.

It's more than just that. The Darden group restaurants (Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Longhorn steakhouse, etc.) have gotten an unusual amount of bad press in recent years for basically being just a "reheat and serve" restaurant rather than actually cooking food from scratch on the premises.

They're not just another cheap chain, they're one that relies nearly entirely on 'chef mic'.
