It's an African thing, man. It really is. I spent almost 4 months in Nigeria and I saw the impatience everywhere. The waiters, cab drivers, hotel staff... It's everywhere. Their brains are hardwired to think in terms of instant gratification. Other Americans I met there noticed it too.

The phone company I used to work for opened up an office in Nigeria's capital. The food was surprisingly tasty. Lots of rice and stewed meats and they season the hell out of it. Don't remember what any of it was called though. I had no idea what to expect of the place, but it was surprisingly pleasant. I was in the nice part, of course.

Have you ever been away for a while and when you come back home you seem to constantly have one foot out the door? It's kind of like that. Like they're always looking to move on to the next thing. We had a native guy installing a bay to house switches. This was a job that would've taken me maybe a week. It took him like a month. He seemed more focused on his after-work plans than the job at hand. I was only supposed to be there for two months, and when the boss asked what the hold-up was, I all could really say was that the Nigerian work ethic was different than Americans. It's difficult to put into words but when you're there you'll notice it. People can also be short with you. It's a culture shock for sure.

Not state law. You can carry your concealed firearm at any company you like as long as you have a registered firearm and a concealed ccw. It's store policy if they want to allow firearms onto their premises or allow employees to carry.

Where I work customers carrying firearms are prohibited from entering our business but employees are required to carry a firearm.

About 10 years ago I was delivering pizza and I knocked on someone's door, guy with no shirt and a cigarette points a gun right at my face and says "The fuck are you?" I was speechless, pretty high too, so I couldn't form any words to say. Some blonde girl who only had a bra and panties on was further back and yelled "It's just the pizzaaaaaaaa" and then the guy dropped the gun and paid for it. I only got like a $.90 tip. I wanted to report him but my manager was an asshole and I thought I would get in trouble. I carried a sig .22 in my glovebox ALWAYS after that.

Part of that is that the company can't really legally tell their employees no to exercising their 2nd amendment rights if they are certified they have the right to bear arms any company that says no or you don't work for us opened themselves to be lawsuit by going against the Constitution (similar to searching your shit without permission it's established in most handbooks they can search bags and stuff for loss prevention hut if you don't sign those books they actually don't have any right to)

A lot of bullshit gets posted here but that shit's true and happened to me. For a long time afterword, I was super paranoid and thought someone was trying to kill me. I had a yard with a privacy fence and would try to sit on my patio but would get paranoid someone was going to shoot me.
