For me, it's canned beef stew on rice. Fusing the East and West.

this is actually delicious, also canned beef stew on-top a couple pounds of mashed potatoes is an amazing warming meal, especially with a hot drink while watching a comfy television show... extremely easy to make while being great :)

are you eating that on a wooden shelf inside of your fridge?

Have you considered cooking your own 6 liters of beef stew using fresh ingredients and a good chuck steak, then portioning it and freezing it so you can have a good months worth of beef stew at a similar price point available with just as much ease but 12x the flavor and consistency and none of the chemical additives?

Legit i eat lazy but for me that means making 8 serves of something when i cook and keeping frozen meals on hand. Idk why people buy those awful $4 a can stews.

That's lotsa rice

>$4 a can
That's some bad shopping right there. $2 is more accurate, less if you buy in bulk. Homemade is still better though, I'd agree with that, just less convenient and depending on quality of ingredients, more expensive.

Holy shit. I didn't know the IRA was still a thing. Terrifying.

>canned beef stew with disposable plates and a plastic spoon
>pretentious micro-craft beer that probably cost $17 for a four pack

Pretty much sums up the priorities of average "beer nerd"

I bet you're that guy who always tries to derail wine threads with "wine is ok but beer is much better for MUH MUNNY'S WORTH"

So basically you made pilaf which funnily enough makes sense as Central Asia is smack dab in between the East and West

If op's pic is a "pilaf" then a bag of steak-ums microwaved over wonder bread is "beef wellington"

That stuff tastes like how dog food smells.
