Unironically yes, it forces them to actually give a shit about customer service. They invest more in customer service training than any other fast food place I know of, and it pays off.

Their food is very meh compared to other fast food places, but good service goes a long way, which is why they are my favorite place to go. Clean young employees with positive attitudes and good work ethic, vs. random druggies at Taco Bell who can't even get an order right and probably drop my food on the floor? The choice is obvious. Just wish they sold burgers

Because they literally do when "above and beyond" means actually serving you what you ordered, without making you wait for half an hour, and without dropping it on the floor. And actually apologizing and making things more than right when mistakes are made. I know, it's pretty sad that this is considered "above and beyond" but standards have fallen so much in the fast food industry that this is actually praise worthy

It's just such a consistent level of service every single time you go, unlike any other fast food place where it's basically just a gamble and you might as well just expect them to poop in your food and be pleasantly surprised if they don't. I can't stress this enough how important it is for me to be able to order food and have the piece of mind that a fucking drug dealer with STDs and poor hygiene is not touching my food
