Yeah, about once a month I buy like $40 worth of expensive cheeses and just inhale it like a ham planet all day. By late in the day I've got a weird fucking head rush, and the next day I have horrible gas. I read somewhere that it's some chemical in aged cheese, I forget the name.

>> No.10735874

For me, personally, because I have mild lactose intolerance, yes.

I still eat a shit ton of cheese though.

That's tyramine. It's also in fava beans. ODing on it (only possible by taking MAOI) can kill someone by boiling them to death from inside.

9/10 times, cheese is a crutch ingredient. Cheese, to most people, is delicious. There are tons of varieties to appeal to any pallet, and every culture has their own variant. When you add cheese to a food, it's more than likely going to make it taste better. If I go to an Italian restaurant and the lasanga has more cheese than sauce, I know they're unsure about how good their sauce is. That's the same thing with steak houses and even sushi restaurants at this point. Adding cheese is just an easy way to elevate food you're not sure is GREAT on it's own.

That being said, too much cheese is absolutely a thing. If there is so much that I can't taste the rest of the dish, it's too much.

In topic of health yeah though whenever i buy cheese i try to get the more "healthier" kind ie mozzarella, feta or a little bit of blue cheese instead of a huge block of that bland yellow shit.

Also replacing meat or protein source in some meals with cheese is pretty gud/5.

Girl I have an unhealthy infatuation with tells me she has a condition that acts up badly when she consumes dairy, specifically cheese.
I was working at the front desk and saw the residence hall's packet with the information on everyone in each hall on campus that has a condition which grants them a special room or permits them to have a an ESA.
She's on that list and has Dependent Personality Disorder (DPD). Is just full of shit yeah?

Neither is over-exaggerated self-analysis of the mind. People are too critical of themselves, but in all the wrong ways with an unhealthy lack of intuition.

Do you really depend on this person psychologically, or do you just have 'attachment issues'? Are you really 'intolerant' to dairy, or do you just get too happy when you consume it? I think it's because she could eat so much cheese (according to her positive statements on cheese) that she's afraid she'll get bad gas or something silly, and she thinks she'll gain too much weight way too fast.
I just can't believe that someone's psychological state can be severely and negatively altered by the consumption of cheese, specifically, in effect to something like DPD. It all sounds just toooo farfetched for me. But I find myself having to explain these thoughts around every corner, like how I don't believe in the slightest that mental states and proneness to disorder is in absolutely no way genetic.

Feel free to shit on this for your time being as well. I don't believe in sleep walking. And I would wager a lot of money that you can remedy the effects of, and ultimately suppress, highly functioning autism and its hold on a person by just treating that person with the respect people deserve in general, and with maybe a little bit of of an extended effort towards cooperating on their level and exceeding their social expectations.

Oh yeah, and addiction is not a real thing. It's just a new-age term used to keep people believing they need to change their ways when they don't have the capacity to make that conscious realization themselves, and the failure to make that realization is the problem, and it's not called 'addiction'. It's not an addiction to not realize how much cock you suck, or just how ugly you and your family are.
