I've had it. It's fine to satisfy your curiosity but it is just coffee. Additionally, most of the stuff on the market is (a) made with domestically farmed civets, (b) pre-ground, and (c) roasted to burned ashes and usually very very stale by the time it reaches the consumer. Even if you buy it on the civet farm, as with certain tourist traps in southeast asia.

Alright, so there's only a few possibilities.

You bought prepackaged or preroasted beans, meaning that you're a tasteless foodie that fetishizes completely irrelevant or secondary traits (cat poop coffee beans) over relevant or primary traits (freshness)
or
You bought unroasted beans and roasted them yourself and, as is literally always the case in coffee, it was only good because it was fresh, and not some irrelevant secondary characteristic (being cat poop coffee)

I'd pass on the most expensive coffee in the world not because it once covered in poopy, but because I could find infinitely better ways to waste my money, like one of those rolling penny donation machines.
