My uncle does this. He has a particular lunch for each day of the week (he works evenings, so no dinner). Wednesday is burger and salad day, and it's been burger and salad day for decades. I lived with him briefly, and he acted like it was kind of a big deal. But it really wasn't. It was just the bagged lettuce mix and he'd dump it in a bowl and cover with ranch dressing and eat along with his one shitty burnt-to-hell cheeseburger. Every Wednesday for decades.
