water is food so im posting this here. what do u shits do for filtering your water? what containers do u use? i did a water test on my tap and found it had pesticides so i want to get a filter asap. these guys (https://thewirecutter com/reviews/best-water-filter-pitcher/) recommend the brita products, but im leery about getting a """"BPA-free"""" plastic pitcher. i think i read someone on here saying BPA is only a concern if you're heating the plastic, which for a water container would not be the case.

Some consumer program did a test a couple of weeks ago, the effect of water filters was dubious at best.

They suck at making the water softer and letting the water sit in the pitcher/filter led to an increase of germs.

reverse osmosis is the best. ignore any site that recommends brita

If anything, I would filter it and then dump the water straight into a glass pitcher. I hate plastic containers. And I do actually notice the difference in taste, and it also makes coffee, tea and broth different as with straight up tap water. Also the kettle stays without sediment for longer.

Trips dont lie, get a system under the sink and you should be set.

I use the fridge filter.

We either have good water or a bad filter, cuz I did a TDS test and the filter took down disolved solids by only like, 100 PPM or something.
