Why doesn't /ck/ have a sticky?

It would be nice to have something similar to /fit/ that gives you a quick rundown on all the basics of cooking, for us helpless manchildren who don't know how to cook and can't be arsed to learn it via any means other than a 4chan sticky.

It could be a concise list of recommended things. Such as knives, crock pots, chefs, ect. So that the common threads of "ck tell me what knife to buy" can be shunned and deleted because the list is already there. But at the same time that might slow down the board and give less activity.
