Why doesn't this board have some kind of sticky with cooking resources, maybe a wiki? What are you good for if you can't help NEETs learn how to get by?

>What are you good for if you can't help NEETs learn how to get by?
That's on purpose, we really don't want more people with double digit IQs. If you can't even figure out the basics on your own without some kind of Wiki you really should just stick to hotpockets.

>> No.10464786

>>10464779
I'm not really a NEET if that's worth anything to you
Anyway your reasoning is fucking elitism at its worst. If /lit/ can have a sticky there's no reason why you shouldn't.
Some people are just raised without cooking knowledge and they'd just like to know where to start. Including a wiki would literally do the exact opposite of attracting people with double digit IQs.

>> No.10464787

>>10464742

/ck/ will never have a sticky. The point of the board is to yell at like minded alcoholic line cooks about petty differences in high level cooking techniques, not cater to fucking children who just moved out on their own and have no basic life skills; and if you just had your wisdom teeth out don't even think about starting a thread around these parts.

Yeah, because not wanting to cater to 16 year old neets asking the same fucking questions every single day without lurking for 5 minutes means the board is the stupid one, dum dum. /ck/ probably has the lowest entry level tolerance of any board on the site, and it's pathetic.

Deal with it OP, its clearly what the board users want. If the people who post here wanted to cater to shit heads like you there would be more "proper threads" and probably generals other than alck. I was genuinely interested in it until I realized this board is shit. It's awful, everyone is an asshole and it seems like most of these faggots can't even actually cook. There are good threads once in awhile though.

The reason /ck/ doesn't have a sticky is because there are so many different was to cook the same dish in a lot of cases, and the average cu/ck/ will always be convinced that their method is the best. Which means that the wiki would more than likely end up as a shitpost center of articles that never get done due to people changing them, or constant threads about how " the Article about X is wrong."

It is kinda disappointing that most of the threads on this board are mostly webm threads, memes and people complaining about fast food or alcohol. When I first got here about 7 years ago I had hopes there would be more recipe and cooking tecnique sharing
