there's also several different pasta e fagioli depending on region so you can find several different

pasta salad with beans can be nice

chickpea sauce with about half the chickpeas turned into a paste (or to your liking), just get it creamy with some of the pasta water, add some fresh herbs. fry some onion and/or garlic to start off with the sauce

I sometimes do bolognese-ish sauce with lentils, you could probably do something similar with beans of choice if you crush them up a bit

My two go to dishes involve a simple red sauce (olive oil, onion, garlic, crushed tomato, salt, pepper) and orecchiette pasta. Then it's either cannellini beans and sage OR chickpeas and rosemary. Both kick ass.
