Share your Subway ordering knowledge, what toppings and sauces are top tier?

Subway is painfully mediocre to me but I'm sure all I need to do is master the tech. Tell me how to be a Subway master

Every single time I go to subway they always freak out when I say I don't want any veggies on my sandwich... I don't understand how anybody could want veggies... They just make the flavor worse.

Lazy fag who gets subway once or twice a week here. my sub is
>white flat bread
>black forest ham or turkey
>swiss cheese
>toast that shit up bro
>spinach
>bell peppers
>red onions
>pickles
>sweet onion sauce

I estimate that's around 800 calories, since the base sandwich is advertised as 680 calories but then I'm adding sauce and some veggies to it. over all it's a "refreshing" sandoval.

The secret is you need to ask the manager what’s best. They manage inventory so they will know which shipments are fresh, which ingredients are highest quality, etc, etc. It also takes gumption to become a manager so odds are they will also be more well versed in food in general.

You can buy bread, ham, and cheese for cheaper, still have leftover, and it's most likely higher quality and probably faster as well.

just order a roast beef with provolone and mayo. maybe some spinach if you want, on herbs and cheese bread. It's pretty good, also ask them to toast extra.

>> No.10420407

So I used to work at subway. Here's how you do it. You can make any sub especially meatball and the steak taste 1000x better by getting bell peppers, onions, maybe some tomatoes and jalapenos. Then you ask them to put oil, salt and pepper and then toast it. You can also make a pizza sub by getting a spicy italian and adding marinera sauce and then doing the veggie toasting thing. Most subways also carry parmesean cheese.

Subway is bullshit now. None of the subways by my house have neither the 5 dollar footlong or sub of the day specials anymore, and the sandwiches are so shitty id rather go to TOGOs or Quiznos and pay the same price, 8-9 doll-hairs, for an actual tasty, delicious and enjoyable sub. fuck subgay.

>> No.10420532

>>10420513
not our fault youve made absolutely no effort to find the good locations. subway is like hunting for a decent electronics store. most are shit, with soggy sandwiches, shitty staff, no ingredients, and no fucks given.
but sometimes, you stumble upon a truly magnificent subway where the staff is young and cute, they make almost perfect sandwiches, and are ready to give you hookups.

sauce? me. worked at a university subway for a year or so. We fuckin took pride in making good looking and tasting sandwiches. fucking picture perfect, with next to no consideration for skimping. we gave you extra meat without charging you, didnt adhere to the cheap ass “only 5 medallions of salami”, and while admittedly getting absolutely lineoutthedoor slammed, we still did it with a smile, and the ptience to try to weasel out of you what your idea of a good sandwich was. i judge subways hard as fuck now. 7/10 times you frequent a shitty subway. but travel as much as i do, and you realize that there are some bro-teir good ass subways out there.

as for recommendations, unless youre willing to risk having to soend more, roll with the chicken breast or spicy italian. most everything else is pretty meh. at least one time in your life, ask the line staff for a jalepeno and tuna scoop. most savoury.

Oh, and its a pain in the ass, but i also recommend asking for some new gloves.

I used to work there. I tried everything.

On seafood just add a lot of seasoning and onions.

On the club I add seafood. Seriously.

On the meatball add 1 "light" strip of mustard and mayo. Then olives, bell pepper, onion, and lot's of seasoning. The condiments add a buttery tartness that brightens up the marinara.

On the steak n cheese double meat, extra cheese, chipotle sauce, onion, bells, olives, jalapenos, lot's of seasoning. It's not worth the price but this is the only way it is good.

Turkey, extra bacon x 2, avocado, whatever you want.

Italian subs stand on their own. Maybe double meat it. Add a lot of oil and vinegar to double veggies, always use spinach instead of lettuce.
