If I remember to, I'll post pics of me cooking some Korean-Chinese pork dumplings three ways-Steamed, Boiled, and Fried, which are the ways you can order them in most Chinese dumplings joints in Korea.

In a reverse-Oldboy way, I had to experiment with a bunch of different recipes to get the ingredients and cooking method just right to make dumplings that tasted just like the ones i a somewhat legendary, no reservations spot that I used to frequent. The place had pretty high prices but no one complained since you could see them making the dumplings from scratch every day.

I didn't take any pictures but I deboned and deskinned some chicken thighs and lightly breaded them fried them is sesame oil and served with stir fried veggies. I cooked the onions too long but oh well it tasted good.

I love using boneless/skinless chicken thighs in recipes. You can buy them like that but it's hella cheaper to get regular chicken thighs. It's quick and easy enough to rip off the skin and get the meat off the bone. A little cutting and trimming and Bickety Bam!

Looks terrible, to be honest. That grey color is not what you want anywhere on a steak. The entire exterior should be the golden brown color of the grill marks, and the grill marks themselves should be black.

Given how thick they are, it should have been possible to achieve this without overcooking them.

Haha, not really, but I did throw some chia seeds and an avocado in there. I also usually put some brown rice and quinoa in the bottom of the bowl, they soak up the flavor nicely. I tend to use too much oil in sauteeing and the water in everything makes it a little soup like. I have thrown the same thing in some broth in the past when I am feeling under the weather.
