I want something sweet /ck/. I have the following ingrediants.

>baking powder and soda
>sugar
>buttermilk
>eggs
But no butter or oil.
What should i make? Im lost without the oil.

With those ingredients I'm thinking some variation of biscuits? The buttermilk is going to have some natural fat/oil in it. Sprinkle sugar on them? Mix the buttermilk with lots of sugar for a glaze/icing?

you could make a really basic dessert souffle. it will not come out of the ramekin or w/e you decide to bake it in but you can still eat it.

If I was in your shoes I'd probably wind up trying to make some form of sweet spaetzle. Still sucks not to have butter or oil to brown it up with in a pan for finishing. Maybe finish in the oven with a bit of buttermilk brushed over it as a desperation move.
