It is because it keeps well enough if it's dried, do you think they add extra shit into food for shits and giggles or for some actual Jewish conspiracy?
The added shit is literally to extend shelf life if you have something with a naturally long shelf life (like dried pasta) then adding more unnecessarily increases costs. Take that stupid soccer mom broscience shit elsewhere dumbass
