How much would you pay for a piece of junk that pollutes your food with metal traces BUT looks good hanging on a wall?

Feel free to use pans you like better. I love my cast iron. GFs and wives have come and gone and hated my cast iron, but eventually came around and had to admit it was superior.

Are you taking a multivitamin like you should be?

Yeah right why would you want the a pan that's got excellent hear retention and is good for pizzas and baking bread at home as well as getting to high enough temperatures to perfectly sear meat.
Better get a unitasker pan that's good for pretty much just eggs and leaves a shitty sear. Get all plastic utensils too wouldn't want to scratch that Teflon and have to get a new one.

I literally don't know how you make a decent steak without a cast iron pan. Literally.
Or pancakes for that matter.

My mom used to insist on cooking spaghetti in a cast iron pan and it used to drive me insane having to try to maintain them for her.
Fuck. Makes me mad even thinking about it 20 years later.

>> No.10338044

>>10338016
yeah, I don't get this
stainless steel can't retain or handle the same level of heat that cast iron can. For instance, my stainless steel pan is only rated to 475. My cast iron pan can go well beyond that. Used it to cook a steak tonight. Was delicious.

>> No.10338048

>>10336655
You can buy a top quality cast iron pan for $15 any day of the week and it will last you forever. Also, you don't have to hang it on your wall - you can put it in a cabinet.
