Making 2 dozen tea eggs. Going to cook them on low all night. Anyone else eat these? Have and advice? Done this a few times before.

Anon, he's teabagging eggs. The amount of accidental humor in this alone is above criticism.

So they cook in the tea and soy sauce overnight, you crack them after they get hard and it makes a nice marble coloring as well. Then you add them to noodles or just eat them.

Why would you make this disgusting dish. Put two drops of maggi on peeled hard boiled eggs. It's delicious, and you can eat them right away.

Since my threads still up and they are done. You boil the eggs for about 10 minutes, then you take them out and crack them with a spoon or knife (or if your hands don't feel hot anymore those) all over. Then out them in a crock pot on low with light and dark soy sauce, a little brown sugar, some water and a fair amount of Oolong tea. I've also used a bit of Earl Gray if I run out. You can also put in a cinnamon stick but I don't really like cinnamon in them. Just cook on low overnight and then put in the fridge to add to ramen and rice dishes.
