>How's the low sodium diet going thus far?

pretty, pretty good

the only sodium on the steak was a limited amount in the panko which does't have nearly as much as normal bread crumbs and the natural salt in the steak

I'm thinking about making some white gravy tomorrow with some msg and steak fries with some of this mrs dash no salt seasoning to go with my leftovers (only ate like 1/3 of the steak)

if I could give you any advice I'd say go out and get some cheap ass steak and pound that shit out with a hammer/rubber mallet and you won't regret it

Also if you've never had it, Apple cider vinegar is god tier on fries. I first tried it in ocean city Maryland like 15yrs ago and never looked back.

Tastes pretty much as you'd think it would. Chowder with sweet potatoes instead of white potatoes. Not bad though, first time making a soup from scratch, will be adding this into the winter rotation. Only part that was a pain was the dicing part. That took forever.

after taking the deep-fried pill there is a very unhealthy experimental stage, embrace it m8

a few things to start trying id say are using batter, for sweet stuff its easy to just use boxed pancake mix, can use it for making a sausage corndog with a syrup dipper shit is dank

a must have is a decent beer batter recipe for fish n chips style stuff but its also good for many other things like deep fried pizza, jalepeno coins etc, here is what i use it makes dank fish

http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/chips-and-fish-recipe-1906657

also id start thinking about wings and fries, wings need a double fry imo with a cool down period in the middle and Ive been liking thicker cut fries with a par boil, gl m8 there is no turning back now

I started making a quick chili after work on Sunday. Not nearly intensive as yours, sorry. Didn't have a lot of time but was craving a hearty chili meal. I used the chili seasoning packets. One pound of 93% lean ground beef and a pound of 'stew' meat. (we had some briskets to use up at work and we were running low on stew meat. you know that thin cap of meat between the fat on the underside of the brisket? it wasn't exactly proper chunks of stew meat. i hid it at the back of the shelf so i could buy it after work) I had a spare onion to chop and diced two cloves of garlic for browning the meat. A 28 oz. can of diced tomatoes with green chilies. That small can of Goya chipotles in adobo. Let it simmer for an hour. Add a can of dark red kidney beans and a can of black beans and let that simmer for an hour. Done.

Hey, thanks for the response. We got this one as a gift about five years ago from my mother-in-law. She didn't know when she bought it that it was a factory second. The bottom is a cunt hair uneven so on our glass top it'll wobble ever so slightly. Can you speak to the flatness of the six quart?

How many times do you get laid a week with this 10/10 cooking m8?

If I could cook like you I would have to beat women off me with a stick

thanks guys

I decided I don't really like communicating through email cause feel to much pressure to come up with good things to say but appreciate the offer

from CT but maybe some day I'll get down to Ohio

>I live 37 miles from the nearest grocery store or gas station
well at least it must be like a special event to go out to the store

it reminds me of when we used to drive an hour down to this smoke shop every once and a while but was a special time going there cause we didn't have one 5-10 minutes away

>>10032330
thank you for the kind words
trying to think up some new low sodium dishes to make and might try some tomato soup to use up some cans of no salt added tomatoes

actually thing I havent had donuts yet this year but that is partially because they started selling pakzis or whatever and they stopped doing sales on donuts

>old pic of Smokey

looks good - I always end up making soup like that where its like a stew instead because of not enough broth

>>10032497
looks better than mine I just made over the weekend but didn't take pics cause felt embarrassed

not sure what went wrong but I added hoisin sauce so maybe that messed it up or too much sesame oil - also forgot to add egg and used too many water chestnuts

I know what you mean about the email and thinking about things to say, That shit is kind of stressful and time consuming coming up with things to say.

Sort of, It's kind of a pain in the ass to be honest but I like living in the middle of no where. It's kind of pain because of how much fuel I go though driving back and forth and scheduling to go into town nearly a month in advance.

There is no better freedom then being able to walk outside your house completely nude anytime of the day, If you so desire.

But at the same time solitude does get to ya occasionally

Just a brisket burger (cooked about medium rare, prefer it a bit bloody) with my favorite burger seasoning (garlic, portini mushrooms, parmesan, soy, worcestershire, salt, and pepper), applewood smoked bacon, american cheese, sriacha ketchup, and romaine lettuce. Got any tips? Always trying to find ways to up my burger game. Also, that’s a damn good cat.
